Services can be booked individually or combined when multiple systems need attention. We explain any change in scope before additional work proceeds.
For bikes that are generally functional but need a thorough reset of basic adjustments. We inspect braking and shifting performance, check key fasteners, assess tires and wheels, and identify wear that may affect dependable riding.
For weak, noisy, uneven or inconsistent braking. Service may include cable adjustment, pad alignment, pad replacement, rotor alignment or other system-specific correction after inspection.
For skipping, grinding, dropped chains, delayed shifts and visible drivetrain wear. We assess the interaction between chain, cassette/freewheel, crankset, derailleurs and controls before recommending parts.
For side-to-side wheel movement, spoke tension concerns, tire damage and punctures. We inspect the wheel and tire together because rubbing, repeated flats and instability can have more than one cause.
For hesitation between gears, chain chatter or shifting that changes across the cassette. Adjustment starts with cable tension and derailleur position, with further inspection if wear or alignment is affecting the result.
A broader service for bikes returning after storage or preparing for a heavier riding period. The focus is dependable function, wear identification and adjustments that make the first weeks of riding smoother.
Drivetrain details matter
A skipping chain may be an indexing problem, a worn chain, a worn cassette, a bent hanger or a combination of factors. That is why we inspect the system before assuming a part should be replaced.
We use the same approach for braking and wheel complaints: identify the behavior, inspect the connected components, correct the most likely cause and verify the result.
Workshop workflow
We record the main complaint, bike type and recent changes you have noticed.
The relevant systems are checked under the conditions that reproduce the problem where possible.
We define the work, explain priorities and confirm the agreed direction.
Adjustments, replacements or corrective work are carried out to the agreed scope.
Repaired systems are checked again for operation, alignment and consistency.

Choosing the right service
Service names are useful for planning, but bicycle problems do not always fit neatly into one category. A rubbing brake can begin with wheel alignment. Poor shifting can be caused by cable condition, derailleur adjustment, hanger alignment or drivetrain wear. A recurring puncture may involve the tire, rim tape, rim condition or pressure setup.
For that reason, we do not expect riders to select the exact repair in advance. Use the closest service category and describe the behaviour in the booking form. The workshop can then inspect the connected systems before the repair scope is confirmed.
Best for a bicycle that is functional but gradually feels less precise, has been stored, or is entering a period of heavier use.
Best when there is a specific symptom such as skipping, rubbing, repeated flats, wheel movement or inconsistent braking.
Useful when several issues appeared together, after transport or impact, or when the bicycle has an unknown maintenance history.
What we look for
A reliable repair depends on checking the interactions between parts rather than treating each component in isolation.
Wheel position, derailleur hanger alignment, brake position and component seating can all influence how a bicycle behaves even when the individual parts are not visibly damaged.
Chains, cassettes, brake pads, tires, cables and contact surfaces wear at different rates. We compare condition across related parts before recommending replacement.
An adjustment that immediately drifts can point to cable stretch, loose hardware, damaged threads, worn interfaces or another underlying issue that needs attention.
